The story starts with a narration of Uatu the Watcher talking about the Marvels that surrounded this world, and how now every single Marvel is meeting its inevitable end.
Next, we see Susan Storm grieving over her dying husband Reed Richards, while surrounded by the remains of Ben Grimm's rocky body. Reed mentions with his last breath that he managed to keep their children safe in the Negative Zone from this menace. An explosion sounds and Susan becomes invisible only to find out that the perpetrator was none other than Deadpool who just crashed a ship crushing Johnny Storm and slitting his throat. The resulting blood splat reveals Susan's position to Deadpool but before he can attack her, Susan blows his head with a force field. However, Deadpool's healing factor rebuilds his head and he manages to stab Susan at the back, effectively killing the Fantastic Four.
In a flashback is revealed that Deadpool was committed into the Ravencroft Asylum by the X-Men in order to heal him from his insanity, but unbeknownst to them, his doctor was actually Psycho-Man who was brainwashing his patients into doing his bidding and was aiming to do the same with Deadpool by shutting down his inner voices. The plan backfired as his voices were replaced by a new one that encouraged him to kill everyone. Deadpool kills Psycho-Man by smashing his head as a stamp and later he escapes the asylum not before blowing it up.
Deadpool confronts Uatu once he manages to find him and even manages to kill him thanks to one of Reed's devices, before heading on with his massive killing spree.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN WHAT’S INSIDE OF PETER PARKER’S BACKPACK?
Today I found a backpack, inscribed on the backside with “Property of Peter Parker”. This is the same exact backpack that Andrew Garfield wore inThe Amazing Spider-Man footage we saw at Comic Con and at the recent “Untold Story” event. The only difference is this bag is missing Peter’s skateboard. This is one of the most elaborate pieces of viral marketing that I’ve ever seen in person. The backpack was filled with the types of things you would expect a high school student to have: notebooks, a binder, school books and more.
Inside I found a clipping from the Daily Bugle with articles on Spider-Man and Captain Stacey (Gwen’s father). In the notebook, I found many handwritten calculations, either classwork or maybe for a project Parker is working on at home, alongside many preliminary designs for Spider-Man’s logo, suit and mask. Each page is handwritten in pencil or pen, sometimes featuring highlighter highlights. The binder contains a bunch of film negatives and a few printed photos, none of which appear to contain any characters from the film. The backpack also contained personal items like Parker’s sunglasses and sneakers, and school supplies like safety lab goggles, pencils, compasses, a set of keys and more.
A favorite target of bully and taunts by fellow school mates, it wasn’t all too surprising that Peter Parker‘s ragged JanSport backpack went “missing” one day. To help the future super hero of the arachnid kind, a viral treasure hunt for the backpack went out over the Internet. Armed with Twitter clues and coordinates, fans of upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man were able to locate the backpack in selected cities. In each, an assortment of necessities you would find in any other backpack of a typical student from the Big Apple, including lab safety goggles, MetroCard, a pair of ASICS Onitsuka Tiger, and etc… But the most interesting aspect was the notebook. Filled with encrypted messages, calculations, early sketches of his mask, and more, the notebook was a treasure trove of tidbits on Peter Parker and his secret life as the Spider-Man.
I didn’t forget about the front part of the backpack. Other than the pencils, sharpener, goggles, and empty film canisters, there was something that I found interesting, and I think you should too!
